Felix Ayodele Israel Adjayi, P.E., P.Eng, Ing, is a distinguished civil and water resources engineer recognized for his contributions to transportation infrastructure, drainage engineering and large-scale construction projects across the United States and Canada. A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Felix has built a dynamic career rooted in technical excellence, leadership and innovation within the engineering and construction industry.
Currently serving as a Water Resource Engineer at Kiewit, Felix specializes in drainage systems, hydraulic design, transportation infrastructure and project delivery. Since joining Kiewit in 2020, he has worked on complex infrastructure projects requiring advanced expertise in roadway drainage, hydrology, hydraulics, and transportation engineering. His technical background includes proficiency in industry-leading software such as OpenRoads, Bentley, MicroStation, HY-8, PondPack and Civil 3D.
Felix first joined Kiewit as a Design Build Engineer in Denver, Colorado, before advancing into his current role as Drainage Engineer based in Lone Tree, Colorado. His work environment is known for fast-paced project execution, aggressive schedules and high-performance engineering standards, all of which have shaped his adaptability and professional growth.
Prior to his engineering advancement, Felix also demonstrated strong business and leadership capabilities as a Team Manager at Yassa African Restaurant in Chicago, where he contributed to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, profitability and team coordination.
Felix further expanded his project management experience through an internship with The Allen Group, LLC in San Francisco, California. During this internship, he supported the $2.4 billion redevelopment of Terminal 1 at San Francisco International Airport. His responsibilities included coordinating integrated system testing, organizing stakeholder training programs, assisting with passenger simulations, and contributing to commissioning and activation processes for critical airport systems.
